An anonymous tip (comment on one of my previous blogs) pointed me at this reference to Microsoft moving TechEd 2007 (and other scheduled conferences) out of New Orleans - http://entmag.com/news/article.asp?EditorialsID=7867. WinHEC also will be moved out of New Orleans. No site has been identified as of yet for this conference.
I wasn't really looking forward to a TechEd in New Orleans but I also had never been there before so I was considering it. I say we have TechEd in Hawaii, the Caribean, or maybe why not have it on a huge cruise ship.
